In case you haven’t caught on yet, I’m a huge fan of kindness. I don’t really think that anyone would qualify themselves as “not a fan,” but I just want to make it clear that I believe in kindness the way that I believe in coffee: I wish I could mainline it directly into my bloodstream.
A few weeks ago, The Shire went on our annual family vacation . . .
Hey everyone! I spent last week in New York’s Finger Lakes (travel guide coming soon!), and am definitely missing vacation mode.
Not gonna lie, I spend a lot of time on the Internet. Some of that is due to my job, some of that is a side effect of blogging, but if I’m being honest, I primarily show up for the cute animal pictures and videos.
I’ve been writing and rewriting this post for a long time now, trying to buck up the courage to click “publish.” It’s very personal and I’m not sure the whole world needs to hear my thoughts on Single Lady Life, but recently . . .
As I’ve mentioned before (probably ad nauseam), I adore brunch. I nearly always choose savory over sweet (eggs are nature’s perfect food for a reason, duh!) and while a variation on Eggs Benedict (**cough** Lobster Benny **cough**) will always reign supreme, I do love a good quiche!
I was fortunate enough to be able to extend my July 4th holiday into a little mini staycation last week, and spent some time adventuring around Annapolis, Baltimore, and D.C.
I ate way too much good food, scoped out some new spots, soaked up some sunshine, and best of all, swung by my all-time favorite place in Baltimore: the Peabody Library.
Perhaps you didn’t know this, but of all the birthdays in all the land, I love yours most of all.
